The Federal Register Notices for NPL Updates contains links to Federal Register Notices for Final and Proposed NPL sites in the US.

Use the Basic Query to obtain general information about active Superfund sites based on criteria chosen for these search options:

• Site Name
• CERCLIS ID
• Street
• Address
• City
• County
• State/Territory
• EPA Region
• Zip Code
• NPL Status
• Contaminated Media
• Contaminants of Concern

Search results for the Basic Query will be returned in a standardized format. The report will list the active hazardous waste sites that match your criteria, along with hyperlinks to available NPL site information products.

The Advanced Query provides greater flexibility in finding detailed information about Superfund sites. In addition to providing the same general search options as the basic query, the advanced query enables a search on these criteria:

• Federal Facility Status
• Congressional District
• Activity Type
• Activity Lead
• Activity Start Date
• Activity Completion Date

For query results, most of the search fields can either display, or provide a count of, the information requested.
