Analytical Guidance Documents
The Air Benefit and Cost Group (ABCG) develops and applies methodologies for the estimation of costs, benefits, and economic impacts of national air pollution regulations. These methods are developed in a manner consistent with accepted theories in economics, engineering, and the physical sciences with considerations for data availability and other constraints inherent in conducting applied work. The OAQPS Economic Analysis Resource Document is one of the salient resources used by ABCG staff and others for understanding and performing economic analyses. This document should not be interpreted as guidance that will be followed exactly by OAQPS in its analyses. Each analysis performed by OAQPS presents unique features and hence this guidance is only advisory in nature. This document is continually revised to reflect changes in EPA's approach to implementing statutory or administrative requirements and to clarify and update methods/data/models as necessary. The OAQPS Resource Document can be viewed and/or downloaded in its entirety or by section/chapter. For details on TTNWeb's file type icons, standard file formats, and how to use them, see the TTNWeb File Types page.
