Border-wide Workgroups

Border-wide workgroups concentrate on issues identified by two or more Regional Workgroups as a priority, and are made up of mostly high level federal officials from both nations.  Due to the confidential nature of enforcement and emergency response, not all meetings are open to the public.  The three workgroups meet twice a year to identify and prioritize border-wide/ tranboundary issues and implement programs and projects to address these issues.  Each of the three border-wide workgroups has a federal co-chair from both the United States and Mexico.
