Maintenance Transition

 Effective October 1, 2008, AESDirect will have heightened security 
         measures and user authentication practices that will further increase 
         the level of protection offered to its users.  All of these changes fall 
         under the Department of Commerce’s security guidelines and address the 
         U.S. Census Bureau’s IT Security Program Requirements.  The upgrade to 
         the AESDirect system will provide AESDirect users with the utmost in 
         account security.  The transition is explained in detail in this second
         edition of the AESDirect Account Maintenance Newsletter.
