System Management and Monitoring

The System Management and Monitoring Team is responsible for developing and promoting systematic approaches to the management of highway assets. The goal is that each State and Federal Land Management Agency uses management systems information to measure system performance and support integrated decisions in programming projects. Work includes refining and advancing the use of pavement and bridge management systems and promoting the application of management systems for other assets, such as tunnels, roadway hardware, culverts, ancillary structures, and earth retaining structures. The team is made up of a Pavement Management Group and a Bridge Management Group.
