The Request for Qualification Statement (RQS) is used to accelerate the acquisition of Metropolitan Area Acquisition (MAA) services. New offerors of MAA services (including Type 2 crossover candidates) may be considered for pre-qualification by responding to the RQS at any time. Those offerors that did not meet the technical and/or management requirements initially may resubmit their qualification statement at any time.

Each offeror's response to the technical and management requirements will be evaluated on a pass/fail basis. Based on this evaluation and a risk assessment, the contracting officer will determine whether a qualification statement is acceptable or unacceptable.

Qualification Statements are to be prepared in accordance with the instructions in Section L. These requirements documents can be accessed using the left menu. MAA Customer Representatives are available to offer assistance.
