An NSF Town Hall Meeting for representatives of organizations interested in obtaining information relevant to the development of a proposal for submission to the NSF program solicitation NSF 08-574, "George E. Brown, Jr. Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation Operations (NEES Ops) FY 2010 - FY 2014," will be held on August 8, 2008, from 9 AM to 12 PM at the National Science Foundation, 4201 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22230, Room 110. At this meeting, NSF staff will discuss the scope of this competition for the network-wide leadership, management, operations, and maintenance of NEES from October 1, 2009 to September 30, 2014, and the review process. Proposers interested in attending this meeting should send an email to Joy Pauschke (jpauschk@nsf.gov) by August 5, 2008, with their name, organizational affiliation, and contact information. An agenda for the meeting can be viewed here.
