National Pollution Prevention Products and Services Database

The VENDINFO database and equipment classification system was created by David S. Liebl at the University of Wisconsin-Solid and Hazardous Waste Education Center with funding from the Great Lakes Protection Fund. The Development of VENDINFO has been supported by the Solid and Hazardous Waste Education Center and the US-Environmental Protection Agency.

The classification of listings of pollution prevention vendors, equipment, and services contained in the VENDINFO database has been designed to make it easier for the user to search for information. Users that know what type of equipment or services they need, and are looking for a source, can search VENDINFO using "Waste Reduction Equipment Classifications." Those users who do not know what waste reduction technologies are available for their manufacturing process can search using an "Industrial Process Classification" keyword and obtain a list of potential technologies.

The P2 products and services database is updated bi-annually. An on-line entry form is available to users wishing to provide information in the database. The information provided using this form will be reviewed for inclusion in the preview collection prior to incorporation into the main database.
