International Indicators

NCES International Indicator Reports:

As part of its mission to report on the state of education in the United States and other nations, NCES produces reports that draw on multiple international education surveys. These reports relate information from various studies, both international and domestic, to more fully understand the context of the U.S education system. For example, each edition of the Condition of Education contains at least several indicators that compare the United States with other countries.

In addition, NCES produces topical reports on international education statistics to more systematically place the United States in an international context. These international reports emphasize education levels or perspectives and draw on material available from various international studies.

NCES also supports the collection and dissemination of key indicators of child well-being across nations. For more information on these indicators, please visit the ChildStats website.
