Event Summary: The exhibition focus exclusively on converging technologies in the coal and mining technology sectors and will showcase applications, ideas and business strategies in an effort to make the show a convergence destination for selling into the Asian markets. Companies participating in the U.S. Pavilion are provided with an excellent venue to establish or expand overseas distribution, generate sales leads, identify licensing and joint venture partners, find new customers, meet with existing clients, introduce new products, assess the needs of the Asian markets, and evaluate competitors. Representatives from key mining associations and certain U.S. coal State delegations will be in attendance.

In 2003 there were 187 exhibitors and nearly 12,000 trade visitors. While 30% came from Beijing, nearly all the rest came from the hard-to-reach provinces of China.

China Coal & Mining Expo 2005 has been designated as a Certified Trade Fair by the U.S. Department of Commerce. This year's U.S.Pavilion will contain 17 booths, showcasing American products & services in this sector.
