June 20 – 22 in Leipzig, Germany
If you are a U.S. supplier of OE automotive components, modules,
parts and technologies - and you are interested in exploring the
European market - you should consider participating in Leipzig’s
annual “Z Show.” The U.S. Commercial Service in Germany is
proactively supporting participation by U.S. suppliers in this
year’s fair. Please see details of our special program below*.
Why Exhibit at Z Show?
Over the last 5 years, the "Z" Show (in German, the “Zuliefermesse”) has quickly become one of Europe’s major trade shows for this industry. It presents an ideal platform for U.S. manufacturers to approach major Tier 1 and 2 suppliers. Leipzig is located on “Motor Alley," the main German automotive route leading in from the Czech Republic and Poland (Hungary is also close) – where many European and U.S. automotive suppliers and manufacturers have invested in new, modern manufacturing facilities since the reunification of Germany, to take advantage of skilled employees working for lower wages. As a result of this industry concentration, the "Z" Show draws qualified engineers and buyers from throughout Europe and beyond. The “Z Show” also has the advantage that it runs for only three days. As this is purely an OE event, aftermarket parts will not be exhibited.
As an additional incentive for exhibitors, pre-arranged meetings with systems suppliers can be arranged upon request to take place in adjacent rooms to the main exhibit hall during the Fair’s “Buyers’ Days Program". These pre-arranged meetings are of particular value and the fair organizer offers them to all exhibitors at no extra charge. Please contact us (using the form below) to obtain the list of Tier 1 suppliers (which is constantly being enlarged) with whom scheduled meetings can be arranged.
Please note that if you would like to exhibit directly at the Z
Show this year (rather than with us in the USA pavilion), please

Catalog Exhibition Option
*Recognizing that not every U.S. supplier will be able to take
its own booth, the U.S. Commercial Service in Germany (the
Frankfurt and Leipzig offices working in tandem) is offering a
low-cost, yet very effective alternative in the USA Pavilion. The
participation fee of only $1,450 includes:
A table/counter top for literature and product sample(s).
Two stools for company executive and/or German/European rep to
exhibit catalogs/samples.
Support from CS staff (automotive specific) to help with
counseling/translations.
The full impact of our Showcase Global Program, whereby we enlist
the assistance of our Commercial Service colleagues in other
countries to promote your presence at the Z Show to buyers in
their countries before the show.
After-show support, from our U.S. and European automotive
teams.
*Important Notes:
a) Company-specific Show Catalog registration/entry is available
at extra cost (approx. $190.00). It includes a description of
product and full company contact details. This is highly
recommended and is very useful as it sometimes leads to later
inquiries from visitors to the fair after the show.
b) Clients sending large, heavy or bulky product/component
samples need to request a cost estimate for extra space required
and needed logistics.
b) For interested clients, we can also arrange additional,
customized and fee-based services, such as pre-arranged
appointments (besides those already included in the Buyers Days
Program), etc.
c) Your participation in the USA pavilion also includes
participation at no-additional-cost in the literature-only
promotion at an Audi in-house event on July 5, 2006 http://www.baika.de (We
will present your literature.)
