Abstract: A wide variety of booklets, guidelines, leaflets, and
posters, covering a range of safety and health topics are available from OSHA's
Publications Office. Topics covered by the materials include: Workplace

for Construction, General Industry and for the Shipyard Employment Industry,
Bloodborne Pathogens and Acute Care Facilities, Chemical Hazard Communication,
Concrete Masonry Construction, Consultation Services for the Employer, Employer
Rights and Responsibilities Following an OSHA Inspection, Hazardous Waste and
Emergency Response, Hearing Conservation, How to Prepare for Workplace
Emergencies, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Exposure to Cadmium, OSHA
Inspections, OSHA Publications and Audiovisual lPrograms, Permit-Required
Confined Spaces, Personal Protective Equipment, Sling Safety, Safety and Health

request. Purpose: the booklets, guidelines, and leaflets
available from OSHA's Publications Office are intended to provide employers,
employees, and the public citizen information on OSHA program objectives and
requirements. Further, they provide essential information on hazard recognition
and avoidance, and prevention of unsafe or unhealthful working conditions.
