Office of the Director

oversees in the bringing together of Federal, state, tribal, local, and industry partners in an integrated, ecosystem approach to protect, maintain, and restore the chemical, biological, and physical integrity of the Great Lakes. The Great Lakes National Program Office consists of:

Monitoring Indicators and Reporting Branch Policy Coordination and Communications Branch Technical Assistance and Analysis Branch

is responsible for the Environmental Monitoring & Indicators; Health and Safety; Invasive Species; State-of-the-Lakes Ecosystem Conference; Quality Management

is responsible for Communications and Reporting; Pollution Prevention; Program Planning and Budget; Virtual Elimination / Binational Strategy

is responsible for Habitat/Ecological Protection and Restoration; Information Management and Data Integration; Sediment Assessment & Remediation
