Cleanup Areas
| The Wyckoff/Eagle Harbor Superfund Site is located on the east side of Bainbridge Island, in central Puget Sound, Washington. The site includes a former wood-treating facility, called the Wyckoff facility, contaminated sediments in adjacent Eagle Harbor, and other upland sources of contamination to the harbor, including a former shipyard. The site is divided into four operable units (OUs): West Harbor, East Harbor, and the Soil and Groundwater of the Wyckoff facility. The East Harbor OU addresses subtidal and intertidal sediments, the West Harbor addresses both sediments and the upland areas of the former shipyard, and the Soil and Groundwater OUs address the former Wyckoff wood treating site’s subsurface soils and groundwater aquifers. |  |  |
