Lakeside Logistics is a third party logistics (3PL) company providing logistics and distribution services across North America. Lakeside's clients are supported by real- time, web-based, systems for "track and trace," key performance indicators, virtual warehousing and data access.

In early 2007, Lakeside hired a Director of Sustainability, to implement their commitment to reduce their environmental footprint. Under their Vision Green Mandate, Lakeside has engaged its employees to make changes that have successfully reduced their carbon impact.

However, Lakeside's ultimate goal is to support customers in their efforts to reduce their carbon footprints. To make the vision a reality, Lakeside is working with their North American carrier base. Lakesides’ participation in the SmartWay Transport Partnership creates a strong platform on which to promote its Vision Green program with its carriers.
