Mr. Lively is one of two technicians for the maize project at NCRPIS. His primary duties include: managing field and greenhouse regenerations of maize and its wild relatives, managing the post-harvest processing of regenerations from Ames as well as from collaborating growers, and working to provide detailed morphological descriptions of the accessions in the maize collection.
Special Interests:
Matt is working on day-length regulation of tropical adapted varieties of maize for suitable regeneration in a temperate climate.
