A delegation of business leaders from Orlando, Fla., led by the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission (EDC), and the Honorable Buddy Dyer, Mayor of the City of Orlando, traveled to Montreal August 5th through 8th, as part of the region's annual Leadership Mission. Over 90 of Orlando's top business leaders participated in studying best places and best practices of model communities.

Commercial Service (CS) Montreal welcomed the delegation by organizing a networking reception for the Metro Economic Development Commission August 5th at the Intercontinental Hotel in Old Montreal. Over 130 U.S. and Canadian guests from various industries, such as life sciences, aero, and telecommunication and multimedia were in attendance. The EDC delegation was very pleased with the results and indicated that they will be back to Montreal to continue discussions with the Montreal business community.
