  • Assessing explanations for high and low bear densities within the Northern Continental Divide Ecosystem (NCDE) using a hierarchical Bayesian model
  • Examining gene flow and connectivity within the NCDE
  • Determining consequences of analyzing factors affecting abundance of animals at the wrong spatial scale
  • Statistical analyses: geostatistics, spatial point processes, multivariate, regression
  • Improving GIS layers in western Montana (avalanche chutes and structures)
