These data are currently in use by the USGS and others. As issues with the source data, the output data provided in the publications below, or how the data are used in a GIS or models may be discovered, a notification about such will be posted on the usSEABED issues page. Users are encouraged both to notify the usSEABED partners at usseabed@octopus.wr.usgs.gov with any questions or concerns and to refer to the issues page for updates.

usSEABED Publications

usSEABED is an ongoing collaboration of the USGS, University of Colorado, and other partners. New datasets and mining modules will be added to the compilation, and data publications will be updated periodically due to improved and/or increased data holdings.

All usSEABED data are published through the USGS Data Series according to their location (Atlantic Coast, Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean, Pacific Coast, and Alaska-Hawaii).  Other publications provide usSEABED data subsets and associated information in areas of particular USGS interest, such as the New York Bight, Louisiana, and Southern California.
