Detailed Forecast Discussion |
Monday, September 15: A departing low-pressure system will produce moderate northwesterly winds in central Ohio that will disperse pollutants. These winds, combined with mostly cloudy skies, will lead to Good AQI levels. Tuesday, September 16: Partly sunny skies will enhance ozone formation; however, moderate northerly winds will disperse pollutants. As a result, AQI levels will be Good. Wednesday and Thursday, mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures will enhance ozone formation, leading to Moderate AQI levels on both days. Friday and Saturday, continued sunny skies and warm temperatures will enhance ozone formation. In addition, moderate southerly winds will transport moisture and pollutants into Ohio, enhancing particles production. These conditions will cause AQI levels to be Moderate on both days. |
