Web Conferences for Region 10 Applicants

The EPA Region 10 Brownfields Team will host a series of online conferences to explain the Brownfields grant program. They will answer questions and offer strategies for creating competitive proposals. Calls are open to all potential grant applicants in Region 10.

2009 Brownfields Job Training Grants Support Communities Impacted by Contaminated Sites

The Brownfields Job Training Program prepares trainees for future employment in the environmental field and facilitates cleanup of Brownfields sites contaminated with hazardous substances, pollutants, or contaminants and petroleum. Applicants for the Job Training program must be located in or near a brownfields site, and propose to serve a community that currently receives, or has received, financial assistance from EPA for Brownfields-related activities.

Grant proposals are due October 15, 2008.
