Attached is a table that shows the FY 2000 Discretionary Bridge Program allocations. The available funds this year were allocated to four new-start and four continuing non-seismic projects and two continuing seismic retrofit projects.
FY 2000 requests for discretionary bridge funds were received for 42 non-seismic candidates for a total of $876.8 million and from six seismic retrofit candidates for a total of $63 million. A total of $87,100,000 of Discretionary Bridge Program Funds was allocated to the States.
