TRAINING IN
Driver Improvement
National Safety Council is the premier provider of defensive driver training in
the nation. More than 40 years ago, we were the first organization to offer driver
improvement programs – and 60 million students later, we’re still setting the standard.
What sets NSC apart from other driver training providers?
- Nationwide recognition. You'll find the same quality and course content anywhere
across America.
- Proven training techniques. Our courses are researched, designed and reviewed by
leading safety experts, teaching practitioners, and the International Advisory Committee
for accuracy and quality.
- Cutting edge updates. We frequently update course curriculum and teaching materials
to reflect changes in traffic laws, automobile technologies and teaching techniques.
- More training options. Whether you'd like to train your own drivers, send them to
a course, or have an instructor come to you, NSC gives you options. We also have
several offerings available in English or Spanish.
For information on point reduction, insurance discounts, remedial education courses,
and driver retraining programs, see our
state certified programs conducted in Connecticut, Florida, Illinois,
Indiana, Massachusetts, New York, and Texas.
