Manager of Corporate & Foundation Giving
Itasca, IL
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5 years of fundraising, sales and/or relationship building experience.
- Proven ability to develop & solicit corporate & foundation grants and sponsorships.
- Advanced level writing skills required; Must be able to write and edit executive-level correspondence.
- Excellent communications skills (verbal, written, listening).
- Manage numerous tasks and projects while maintaining professional attitude.
- Experience with fundraising software preferred.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage key relationships with existing corporate & foundation donors.
- Develop new relationships with prospective donors.
- Schedule and attend on-site meetings, events & calls with prospective and current donors.
- Research, write and manage proposals, budgets, reports, updates and materials for corporations and community foundation grants.
- Develop and coordinate sponsorship strategies, packages, recognition levels & guidelines for various fundraising and organizational events.
- Assure that all corporate & foundation records are organized in a systematic and coordinated fashion.
- Evening/weekend hours required on occasion and some travel expected.

Inside Sales Manager

Requirements:
- 5+ years sales management experience in a business-to-business inside sales capacity.
- College Degree in related field.
- Proven sales skills – new business development and retention of current customers in an inside sales capacity.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills; excellent writing skills, including scripts and proposals.
- Ability to conduct sales training and coaching.
- Intermediate Word and Excel, working knowledge of Access and PowerPoint needed.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate and lead sales strategies within the Customer Contact Center.
- Manage Inside Sales staff and day-to-day department activities.
- Set sales and performance goals for reps.
- Coach and mentor staff to achieve sales and performance goals.
- Develop and implement processes to monitor staff calls for training purposes.
- Work with other Customer Contact Center staff on training and development projects related to sales.

Meter Machine Operator
Roselle, IL
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- 1 to 2 years in a shipping department.
- Ability to operate and maintain postage and UPS meters, strapping machine, power jack, fork lift.
- Good math ability to work with figures and details for proper accounting records.
- Able to lift at least 60 pounds on and off UPS scale for proper metering of customer orders.
- Computer skills in Excel and Word.
Responsibilities:
- Receives materials to be shipped and determines best method to ship.
- Weighs and meters each customer package. Verifies that the weight and address match on the invoice to ensure accuracy.
- Applies all meter receipts on invoice for proper billing.
- Maintains that all shipments on the conveyor line clear at the end of each day.
- Ensures that all metered materials go to appropriate carriers and obtains necessary signatures.
- Monitors operating condition of equipment and keeps management informed of current status.
- Maintains inventory level of supplies needed to operate equipment.

Controller

Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree with a major in accounting required.
- CPA certification required.
- 7 years experience managing accounting and financial functions preferably in a small to mid-sized organization
between $25 million and $100 million in annual revenue.
- Excellent understanding and application of generally accepted accounting principles including
financial accounting and cost accounting is required.
- Budgeting and financial projection experience is required.
- Experience with accounting, reporting, and budgeting software is required.
- Knowledge of payroll tax and sales tax regulations is required.
- Senior-level writing and presentation skills required.
- Masters degree with a concentration in finance or accounting preferred.
- Background in grant and non-profit accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft/Great Plains Dynamics accounting software, FRx reporting software,
and Microsoft Forecaster budget software preferred.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide timely financial information and analysis to the National Safety Council’s executive team.
- Lead the annual budget and interim projection processes.
- Ensure compliance with all requirements and regulations related to government grants and contracts.
- Evaluate the impact of financial accounting, reporting, and audit requirements and recommend
appropriate policies and applications.
- Responsible for all external reporting requirements including preparation of the annual
financial statement report and pension plan annual report.
- Maintain all financial, accounting and tax reporting systems.
- Primary responsibility for the Council’s relationship with external auditors, including
planning and coordination of audits.
- Responsible for all matters related to federal, state and local tax issues, including the interpretation and
communication of tax laws as needed throughout the organization.
- Maintain all Council bank accounts, including reconciliations, interbank transfers, cash
forecasting and other appropriate records.
- Manage the treasury function, including short-term investment and cash management.
- Direct professional development for the Accounting & Finance organization,
in collaboration with the Human Resources department.

Bi-Lingual Record Coordinator

Requirements:
- High school graduate. Some college preferred.
- Experience in call center environment preferred.
- Customer service experience desired.
- Good oral and written communication skills, good math skills.

Responsibilities:
- Prepares mailing of registration materials to motorists based on lists received from state agency.
- Answers telephones to include screening and routing calls; provides program and schedule information.
- Registers motorists with credit card payments.
- Inputs fee and registration information into computer.
- Opens and distributes incoming mail.
- Prepares class registrations and forwards to instructors and/or students.
- Issues letters to motorists relative to incomplete paperwork, failure to attend, etc.
- Researches and resolves enrollment/completion problems.
