    Comprehensive Center Program Evaluation

The statute requires that the National Center for Education Evaluation and Regional Assistance (NCEE), a component under the Department's Institute of Education Sciences, provide for ongoing independent evaluation of the Comprehensive Centers to determine the extent to which each center meets its objectives. NCEE has selected a contractor to carry out the evaluation.
