Study North Dakota Delegation Travels to Winnipeg, Canada

As part of the Building Bridges to Prosperity-Canada First Program, Ottawa Commercial Assistant Luz Betancur and Fargo USEAC Trade Specialist Heather Ranck, promoted US educational institutions in Winnipeg Rotary's Career Symposium. CS Fargo organized the "Study North Dakota Pavilion" where ten North Dakota (ND) educational institutions promoted their programs to more than 6,000 Canadian visitors, consisting of grade 8-11 students, their parents, high school teachers and guidance counselors. SHAW TV in Winnipeg highlighted the 10 North Dakota educational institutions in the afternoon news.

In preparation for the exhibition, CA Betancur organized a briefing by the Manitoba Student Aid for the ND admission recruiters on current financial options available for Canadian students interested in studying in ND. The recruiters found the information extremely useful in preparation for the show.
