- The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and Energy, Division of Science and Research, New Jersey Geological Survey, Bureau of Groundwater Resource Evaluation (NJDEPE, DSR, NJGS, BGRE) is in the process of generating WHPAs for the state. Connecticut has not passed a state wellhead protection program. At the present time only a couple counties have WHPAs delineated. NJDEPE, DSR, NJGS, BGRE plans to have all WHPAs delineated by the end of 1999.
