Abstract:

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division (Iowa City), has an ARC/INFO coverage containing well and surface water intakes that serve more than twenty-five people. These statewide data are complete with FGDC metadata and appear to contain most of the necessary varialbles needed to generate USAs. According to the metadata, there are minor, undocumented errors in the coverage, mainly missing curver road arc segments.

Purpose:

This digital, spatially referenced data set was developed by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to carry out agency responsibilities related to management, protection, and development of Iowa's natural resources.
