Publication Priorities and Schedules

Our priorities and schedules for making information available and accessible on our public internet are as follows:

Priority 1, as required by law, regulation, Presidential directive, or other official directive or national security:

  • Agency reports and plans including annual reports, strategic plans, annual budget requests, customer service plans, performance and accountability reports, FAIR Act reports, information dissemination guidelines, and NOFEAR Act Reports
  • Privacy and accessibility notices
  • Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) reading room
  • Links to Firstgov.gov, Grants.gov, and other required destinations

Priority 2, mission-critical and essential for program operations but not required by law, regulation, or Presidential directive (i.e.: information or services tied directly to NEA's mission and/or strategic plan):

  • Guidelines for applying for grants
  • Information about using Grants.gov
  • Information about managing a grant
  • Information about major initiatives
  • Nomination information for lifetime achievement awards
  • Job vacancy announcements and information on internship opportunities

Priority 3, frequently requested information or services that would improve organization business processes and/or customer service to the public:

  • Press releases and press kits
  • Newsletter
  • Publications
  • Complete listings of grant awards
  • Links to outside resources of interest to artists, arts organizations, researchers and the general public
  • Special features highlighting projects and individuals supported by the NEA
  • "Contact us" methods facilitating public requests for information and services

Priority 4, other information:

  • Resources intended to supplement or further explain information presented in more detail elsewhere on the site
  • Site maps and other website navigational aids
