National Science Board to Meet Feb. 10 in Boulder, Colo.

February 3, 2006

The National Science Board (NSB) will hold its 390th meeting on Feb. 10 at the University Memorial Center (UMC) of the University of Colorado, Boulder.  This is one of NSB's regular meetings related to general national science and engineering policy issues of interest and specific NSF activities.

Media representatives are invited to attend all open sessions, subject to provisions of the Government in the Sunshine Act. The full meeting agenda is available at http://www.nsf.gov/nsb/meetings/2006/0210/

Highlights of open sessions include:

Friday, Feb. 10 (11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Eastern time)

  • 9:30-10:30 a.m. Committee on Programs and Plans, UMC room 235 (national high-magnetic field laboratory)
  • 9:30-10:30 a.m. Committee on Education and Human Resources, UMC room 245 (national science digital libraries)
  • Open Plenary Session, 10:50-11:30 a.m., UMC room 235

Tuesday, Feb. 7 (10:00 a.m.-7:15 p.m. Eastern time)
