NSF Fiscal 2006 Budget Request Public Meeting Set for Feb. 7

ARLINGTON, Va.—National Science Foundation Director Arden L. Bement, Jr., will brief members of the science and engineering communities, news media and general public on NSF's portion of the President's budget request for fiscal 2006 on Monday Feb. 7 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern time.

The meeting will be held at NSF headquarters, 4201 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, Va. in room 1235.

The director will provide an overview of NSF investment priorities and answer questions. Immediately following the public meeting, at approximately 4:00 p.m., NSF assistant directors and research office directors will hold short breakout sessions for interested individuals who seek detailed information about particular facets of the 2006 NSF budget request. News media representatives are invited to these sessions, also.
