DECLARATION IN SUPPORT OF PETITION
I, Bernard M. Hollander, declare as follows:
- This is a Declaration in Support of a Petition by the
United States for an Order to Show Cause why the above-named
Respondents should not be found in civil contempt.
- Declarant is a Senior Trial Attorney in the Antitrust
Division of the United States Department of Justice, charged with
the responsibility of investigating alleged violations of the
Modified Final Judgment, entered in the United States District
Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on November 8, 1990,
in the case entitled United States of America v. Florists'
Transworld Delivery Association, Civil No. 56-15748.
- In the course of this investigation, Declarant has
examined (a) certain relevant files and documents of the
Department of Justice; and (b) certain documents, records and
answers to Interrogatories, produced to the Department of Justice
pursuant to Civil Investigation Demands issued to Respondents FTD
Corporation (formerly Perry Capital Corporation) and FTDA
Association.
- Based upon the information which has been obtained from
the above and other sources, Declarant affirms that to the best
of his knowledge and belief the allegations and statements
contained in the foregoing Petition are true and correct.
- No previous application has been made for such an
order.
I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct.
