Beltsville Human Nutrition Research Center laboratories conduct multi-disciplinary basic science and applied human nutrition research. This work is important to scientists, food producers, policy-makers, educators and consumers in better understanding the relationship between diet and health. Findings from the diverse human nutrition research carried out at the Center are used for various purposes.

BHNRC is comprised of six labs, and a Human Studies Facility. The Center is located in four buildings in Beltsville, Maryland.
