Stage I Fire Restrictions Terminated

September 15, 2000 -- Effective immediately, the Stage I fire restrictions have been terminated on the Salmon-Challis, Boise, and Sawtooth National Forests. Regional Forester Jack Blackwell made the decision based on the recent precipitation and resulting lower fire hazards on the Forests. Official Order
