SBIR/STTR Mentoring Opportunity
We are inviting supplemental proposals from Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) Phase II grantees who have successfully taken an SBIR/STTR project through Phase I, Phase II/IIB to the market. The grantees will serve as mentors to other small businesses that have never submitted a proposal to NSF, including those from underrepresented groups within their communities. The supplements are intended to broaden participation and to increase the diversity of small businesses within the NSF SBIR/STTR program. For more information see the "Dear Colleague Letter"...DCL
Vacancy Announcement - BC Program Director
The NSF SBIR/STTR program is seeking a Program Director for the Biotech and Chemical Technologies (BC) topic. The BC topic seeks innovative and state-of-the-art, high-risk, high-potential research proposals in the areas such as biotechnology, chemical technology, environmental technology, and manufacturing innovation. These proposals should develop technologies that provide economic and technological benefits that will motivate their successful adoption in the commercial marketplace. These subtopics in these areas range across a broad swath of science and engineering such as bio-processing, fermentation, biomaterials, bio-products, bioremediation, bio-energy, sustainable technologies, solutions to environmental problems, energy, transportation and fuels, materials, separations, catalysts, reaction engineering, and manufacturing innovation.
