NRCan will be hosting a second stakeholder workshop on June 27, 2006 in Toronto. The Committee has assigned a working group to review the proposed Draft Test Protocol 1.1 that will be presented to the Committee for discussion. Decorative Light String Stakeholder Meeting March 6, 2006, Toronto, Canada

NRCan hosted the first stakeholder meeting to discuss the development of the new ENERGY STAR decorative light strings specification. NRCan reviewed the ENERGY STAR process and presented seed criteria and testing protocol documents to those present at the meeting. Stakeholders engaged in discussions and provided feedback on the proposed criteria.
