C A P A B I L I T I E S

Molding of synthetic rubber, chemically cured compounds, and thermoplastics to produce caps, covers, bushings, isolators, and electrical connectors to MIL specifications (many listed in the applicable Qualified Product List) are some of UNICORs many capabilities.

Soldering such products as multilayer circuit card assemblies and communication equipment kits to DOD Standard 2000 and/or MIL-1-45743 is another service provided.

Custom braiding is available for metallic and nonmetallic material such as shielding on cable assemblies, including those used on the Bradley Fighting Vehicle.

We can assemble power distribution systems, including circuit breaker enclosures, lighting fixtures, floodlight systems, and assorted cable and fiber optic assemblies and connectors.

Reverse engineering and machining of unavailable parts, both electrical and electronic, and tools, dies, and fixtures are two more of our many capabilities.

UNICOR also manufactures large wire harnesses for aircraft such as the T-38, F-15, and Cobra helicopter.

UNICOR is also a manufacturer and integrator of electronic and mounting hardware in the form of installation kits for combat radios. Also available are custom preservation, packaging, and bar coding in accordance with MIL specifications.

Testing, calibrated and traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), ensures that our products comply with customer requirements and quality assurance provisions. We also offer testing services for products not manufactured by UNICOR, including:
