Achieving superhuman vision, like the Bionic Woman's, could be as easy as popping in a contact lens. University of Washington engineers have for the first time, combined a flexible, biologically safe contact lens with an imprinted electronic circuit and lights.

The National Science Foundation (NSF) is an independent federal agency that
supports fundamental research and education across all fields of science and
