Q. How high can you fly?

Swings are part of almost every playground. Like slides. Or climbing bars.

Yet, about 200,000 kids each year get hurt on playgrounds and go to hospital emergency rooms. Most kids get hurt when they fall off play equipment.

So help little kids in your neighborhood. Show them how to be safe on swings. Tell them to hold onto slides with both hands.

And, check for playground surfaces that won't be a pain if you fall - like wood chips, mulch, sand, pea-sized gravel, or rubber matting. Grass, dirt, or concrete isn't cool.
