Operation Warfighter Program (OWF)

The Department of Defense's (DOD) Military Severely Injured Center sponsors Operation Warfighter (, a temporary assignment or internship program for Service members who are undergoing therapy at military treatment facilities in the United States. The OWF program is designed to provide recuperating Service members with meaningful activity outside of the hospital environment that assists in their wellness and offers a formal means of transition back to the military or civilian workforce. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) actively participates in this program by providing temporary assignments for Service members.

Warriors to Work (WoW)

Wounded Warrior Project's Warriors to Work ( program helps individuals recovering from severe injuries received in the line of duty connect with the support and resources they need to build a career in the civilian workforce. It can be tough to transition into civilian life. It's even tougher to adjust to life after a serious injury. Warriors to Work is a free service for the new generation of service men and women who have been injured in the line of duty.
