What situations could delay the adjudication of my claim?
There are many reasons for a possible delay in adjudicating your claim:

If your claim is insufficient or not complete.

If the investigator must call for original receipts, claim information, or to clarify your statement of fact.

If we do not have current contact information.

If the claim is for a high dollar amount.

If there is evidence that a possible theft occurred (the claim may be forwarded to law enforcement officials for further investigation)

TSA strives to complete every claim within sixty (60) days of receipt.
