On Sept. 11, 2008, El Mundo al Dia, a Voice of America news segment, interviewed General Director of MCA-Nicaragau Juan Sebastian Chamorro and MCC CEO Ambassador Danilovich on MCC’s poverty reduction efforts in Latin America. The segment aired while Chamorro visited Washington for the Women Thrive Worldwide ceremony which honored both him and MCC’s work with women and economic development in Nicaragua.
