Antarctic Support Contract
Presolicitation Conference Information
A presolicitation conference for the Antarctic Support Contract (ASC) in support of the United States Antarctic Program (USAP) will be conducted on:
When: August 26, 27, and 28, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. local time.
Location: National Science Foundation, 5th Floor Conference Room, Stafford II, 4121 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22230.
Material presented and discussed at the presolicitation conference will be informational only. All official requirements and information regarding the presolicitation conference and any resulting RFP will be posted at FedBizOpps. At this time, the number of attendees at the conference will be limited. The Government reserves the right to further restrict number of attendees based on available space.
Each company attending must be preregistered and must have submitted a preregistration request by COB August 8, 2008 to the National Science Foundation. No new attendee requests are being accepted at this time.
No computers, laptops, cameras, filming, videotaping or tape (audio) recording is allowed at the conference. All cell phone ring tone (sound) should be off during the conference. Stafford II is a smoke-free facility.
A tentative agenda for the conference is posted above. The tentative agenda is subject to change. Additionally only preregistered companies will be provided specific information regarding attendance instructions (this information will be sent to the company POC name via the e-mail provided in the preregistered information).
This notice should not be construed (1) as a commitment by the National Science Foundation to enter into any agreement with any entity participating in the presolicitation conference, (2) as a commitment to issue any RFP concerning the subject of this notice, or (3) as a request for proposals or request for information.
Different material will be presented each day and preregistered attendees should be prepared to attend the entire conference to receive a better understanding of the requirement.
