Who We Are
Integrity, Innovation and Team Spirit are TSA's Core Values, serving as the building blocks of our agency's culture. Together, these values support our focus on the security and customer service required to protect the nation's transportation network. In August we highlighted Team Spirit and celebrated TSA Appreciation Day. This month we want to recognize the value of Integrity in all its facets.
Integrity is a common thread that binds us all to TSA through our individual efforts each day. This value is directly linked to our mission and our identity:
- We are a people of integrity who respect and care for others.
- We are a people who conduct ourselves in an honest, trustworthy and ethical manner at all times.
- We are a people who gain strength from the diversity in our culture.
"Integrity is all about trust," says Dave Holmes, assistant administrator, Office of Inspection. "If we understand our culture we understand how things work. This includes complete transparency into how everything works, from the procurement process to how promotions are done."
Through everyday actions, we demonstrate Integrity to one another and to thousands of passengers. During the month of September, all across TSA we will be considering how we live the value of Integrity.
