I am a firm supporter of the guidelines set forth in the Prowac report, including special markings at pedestrian crossings and other places of thru traffic.  As a visually impaired person, I'm well aware of some of the difficulties that may occur when a blind person travels, and I believe that these changes would make life much easier for blind travelers.  please take action to see that these guidelines are enacted so blind travelers can travel with greater security.
