Hello.  I am a visually impaired person who thinks that audible pedestrian signals help. Especially in a city like Phoenix where i cam right now. They help when there isn't a regular traffic cycle and they especially help when there are drives who do not care. Also, this city is the second for drivers who run red lights. In my own experience I've also come across streets where it would have helped to have an audible signal. These streets did not have a regular traffic cycle and were busy streets.

In regards to the NFB saying that blind people should have had more training after they died because there
were no detectable warnings, well what if there wasn't good mobility training in that area? Or what if they
didn't have access to it for some reason? I think they are wrong for saying something like that and I think
there should continue to be detectable warnings and audible signals. Thanks.
