New ADB's Consultant Management System (CMS) Launched Online
The ADB consultants registration system has been revised into a new and integrated system called Consultant Management System (CMS) for both consulting firms and individuals. The system is the repository of consultants’ records. This new CMS system is easier to use, provides options for simplified or full registration, and allows updates in real time. Read more.
November 2008 Monthly Alerts Released
The International Market Insights (IMIs) report covers 30 new and
proposed projects and TA programs published by ADB online -
amounting to $374 million-worth of opportunities.
Additionally, the Foreign Government Tenders (FGTs) report
comprises 49 procurement alerts mostly coming from the energy
sector. Other sectors included are agriculture and natural
resources, education, environment, health, industry and finance,
transportation and communication and urban
development.

ADB Launches Long-Term Strategy
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has launched Strategy 2020, a new long-term strategy for its vision of an Asia and Pacific region free of poverty.
To fight poverty in a region of more than 600 million poor people surviving on $1 a day, Strategy 2020 will refocus ADB operations on three development agendas—inclusive economic growth, environmentally sustainable growth, and regional integration. Read more.
