Dear Sirs,
I am writing in opposition to the draft guidelines on accessible rights of way published by the access board on June 17 2002. I am blind and do not need detectable warnings at every street corner or accessible traffic signals at every traffic light. I use a long fiberglass cane and there are enough natural landmarks including the sun, to indicate direction, that I do not need environmental changes made by the access board. Please don't do it, it's a huge waste of government funds.
Sincerely,
Brian Johnson
