Homeport TWIC New Hire Information The Homeport TWIC New Hire Provision is now available for MTSA-regulated vessels and maritime facilities in Captains of the Port (COTP) Boston, Northern New England, Southeastern New England, Detroit, Duluth, Lake Michigan, and Sault Ste. Marie. It will be available to other MTSA-regulated vessels and maritime facilities in other COTPs as their compliance dates near. Compliance dates have been (for some) or will be published in the Federal Register. Owners, Operators, Company Security Officers, Vessel Security Officers or Facility Security Officers will need to register on Homeport in order to be able to enter new hire information if they do not already have a login and password. more... |

These services directly support our national interests of ensuring a safe and efficient maritime transportation system, protecting the environment and natural resources, and preventing disruptions to commerce. This plan establishes what the Marine Safety program intends to achieve in the next five years; includes measures of effectiveness; and describes the linkages among our mission, strategic goals, objectives, and actual performance.
