Mission: to develop new policy and reviews existing policy for needed modification or elimination based on the evolving threat to commercial airlines.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing interpretations and clarifications of TSA security programs and regulations governing commercial airlines to Principal Security Inspectors and Commercial Airlines Stakeholder Branch Chiefs in response to inquiries from air carriers and representative industry associations.
- Maintaining a network of partners to ensure recurring and current transportation related security information is shared on a regular basis.
